Advancing sustainability through supercritical fluid technologies
Leading advancements in high temperature, high pressure science and engineering

EMSF 2027 is the 22nd European Meeting on Supercritical Fluids (EMSF) that will be organized by the International Society for the Advancement of Supercritical Fluids (ISASF). The meeting will be held at the University of Nottingham in the UK and will be chaired by Ed Lester and Vivek Trivedi.
EMSF 2027 will take place from 13 to 16 June 2027 at the University of Nottingham’s main campus.
The meeting will bring researchers together to exchange knowledge, disseminate their findings and strengthen the scientific community, while offering delegates an enjoyable visit to the UK. Partnerships among researchers and businesses engaged in developing sustainable processes will be fostered through a combination of high-quality scientific presentations, face-to-face meetings and an exhibition showcasing the latest innovations.
Situated in the heart of England, Nottingham is the second-largest city in the Midlands and is famously associated with Robin Hood. Delegates will have the opportunity to try their hand at archery, encounter giant deer and explore the city’s historic attractions—including a visit to one of the oldest pubs in England.
We look forward to welcoming you to Nottingham in the summer of 2027!
